Dr. Meg Czaszynski, PT, DPT

Hi, I’m Dr. Meg — a pediatric physical therapist and a mom, and the founder of Sunrise Pediatric Therapy & Wellness in Point Pleasant, NJ.

I created Sunrise Pediatric Therapy & Wellness because I wanted more than what traditional models allowed. I wanted a space where kids could feel safe, parents could feel seen, and families could find joy in the therapy process—not just results. I believe therapy should feel like something more than just appointments and treatment plans. It should feel like connection, play, trust, and possibility. It should feel like support—for your child and for you.

For nearly two decades, I’ve worked with children of all ages in all kinds of settings—outpatient clinics, hospitals, homes, and schools. And what I’ve learned over the years is this: real progress doesn’t just happen from the right exercises or techniques. It happens when a child feels safe, seen, and celebrated. And when a parent feels confident, informed, and truly supported.

my approach

Sunrise Pediatric Therapy & Wellness is a holistic, evidence-based care physical therapy practice. There’s a lot of science behind what I do, and I love that part. I love understanding how the body moves, how development builds from the ground up, and how tiny shifts in posture or movement can create powerful changes. But what sets Sunrise apart is how I blend that knowledge with intuition and connection. Sunrise is all about helping kids move better, feel stronger, and reach their goals. But I believe therapy isn’t just treatment—it’s so much more. It’s connection, it’s empowerment, and it’s play (with a healthy dose of giggles along the way).

I listen closely—to your child’s body, to their nonverbal cues, to your insight as a parent. I’ve spent years learning how to feel what a child needs before they can say it. Every session becomes a kind of purposeful play—guided by your child’s interest, but always working toward something real and important.

I often say: therapy isn’t just about what we’re doing—it’s about how we do it.

Kind Words

I can't even believe the progress he has made since starting with her.”

“My son has been seeing Miss Meg for PT for 3+ years now and I can't even believe the progress he has made since starting with her. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything in the PT world, she is very patient with my son, she makes every session fun and exciting, she pushes him to do hard things because she knows he can do it, and most importantly she believes in him. We hit the jackpot when we met Miss Meg!

As a mom myself, I know how deeply you care and how hard it can be to feel confident in the early years. I know how easy it is to wonder if you’re doing enough—or doing it right. When I had my first child, I felt like every decision came with a dozen different opinions. And the second time around? Everything I thought I knew…changed.

So, I get it. Parenting is hard.

That’s why I don’t just work with your child. I work with your family. I place just as much emphasis on supporting you as I do on treating your child. You’ll never feel rushed through a session. We’ll talk. We’ll check in. You’ll get resources, guidance, and encouragement that actually fits your life. Because when a parent feels empowered and informed, a child thrives. And the bond between you only deepens.

I believe that when children feel seen and loved and parents are also educated and supported everyone feels empowered. And that’s when the real progress happens.

I believe therapy should be effective, purposeful, and fun — because when your child enjoys the process, real progress follows.
